This ECOtanka Bamboo & Stainless Steel Lid is innovatively designed to enhance your drinking experience while prioritizing your health and sustainable choices and providing an alternative to plastic lids.

Crafted meticulously, this eco-friendly lid seamlessly combines a sleek bamboo exterior with premium stainless steel, ensuring that only high-quality 304 18/8 stainless steel touches your beverage. This thoughtful design choice guarantees that your drink remains free from unwanted flavors and harmful chemicals, offering you the purest sip every time.

The natural bamboo cap exudes a rustic charm that not only adds aesthetic appeal to any beverage container but also represents a commitment to environmental stewardship. Bamboo, known for its rapid renewability and minimal ecological footprint, pairs harmoniously with stainless steel to offer a lid that is as beautiful as it is functional.

Its silicone seal is made from LFGB grade German silicone, precision-engineered to be air-tight, dust-proof and 99% spill-proof. The silicone seal can also be replaced to prolong the lid's lifetime and to avoid lids from ending up in landfills.

Design details:
Its special air-gap design between its bamboo top and its stainless steel bottom helps to keep drink temperature longer. While fitting with this lid, the ECOtanka Coffee Cup (350ml) can only be filled to 320ml in volume due to the lid depth.
 

This lid is thoughtfully designed and tested and redesigned as a functional and reusable Push-On PP Lid made from high-grade PP#5 plastic (Japanese Material) that can handle high temperatures to keep drinks hot for longer in cold climates.

This Push-On PP lid has been designed to fit over the top-rolled rim (edge) much the same way the single-use lid does. (The lid does drip leak with hot liquids when upside down but should not with cold liquids. )

The opening of the drinking area is much bigger than single-use lids and an air hole allows for greater drinking flow.

All spare parts of the lid will be available for customers to purchase to reduce plastic waste in the environment.  All silicone seals have been made using a very high-grade German silicone and heat-treated to EU standards.

The ECOtanka Reusable Push-on PP Lid also fits most of paper cups with a standard opening diameter of 90mm.  

We encourage people to use this Reusable Push-On PP Lid in replacement of those single-use plastic lids on the market for the benefits of the following:

This ECOtanka Coffee Cup was designed to encourage the changeover from a paper cup to a reusable cup that is similar in size and is the same push-on design as a takeaway paper cup.

The three main important design features we focused on are to keep a similar size as the standard 350ml paper cups, to make the top rim with the rolled edge in order to fit the standard 90mm single-use lids, and, of course, to give a comfortable, familiar but better drinking experience of most paper cups on the market.

NOTE: The PP#5 plastic lid flip-top silicone seal has been redesigned to allow for better release of hot steam built up inside the cup. Due to this change, the lid does drip leak for hot drinks when upside down, but should not with cold liquid.
